History

In February 1996, Carlson Wagonlit acquired the travel business Jetset Travel Pte Ltd, a critical link in our Asia-Pacific network strategy. Today, Carlson Wagonlit Travel has grown and expanded into one of today's most reputable and experienced corporate travel management company in Singapore. Bearing a customer-centric focus, we constantly invest in intensive training programs to enhance our service level to achieve operational excellence.

Being voted by airlines year on year as top travel agent and 'Best Corporate Travel Agency' by the Travel Trade Gazette in 2002, CWT has been recognized to provide sophisticated levels of service to our corporate clients and have excellent relationship with suppliers. With our bargaining power with suppliers, we will be able to provide better travel expenditure management and savings for clients.

In 2002, we have also established our Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Events division to better cater to clients' needs. As a one-stop shop for all corporate travel services, we aim to provide our clients with the best travel management service and build long-lasting relationships with them.

In 1960s	Harpers Travel, a british owned company was founded by Harpers Gilfillan (S) Pte Ltd.
In 1980s	Harpers Travel was taken over by Jetset Travel
In April 1996	Carlson Wagonlit acquired Jetset Travel and renamed it Carlson Wagonlit Travel
In 2002	Carlson Wagonlit Travel was voted 'Best Corporate Travel Agency 2002'
